Rachel x
Rachel Kerrison
As a storyteller at heart, I strive to bring soul and authenticity to every note I sing. My vocal identity is influenced by the great voices of blues and soul - Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin and Etta James. I found my voice in the blues with Dr Bob and the Blues Makers where I could experiment with melody, phrasing, and arrangement in a way that felt liberating.
Jack Davison
Jack's guitar playing has been shaped by the modern blues styles of John Mayer and Marcus King. He has mastered the blues tradition of slide guitar influenced by greats like Duane Allman and Derek Trucks.
Ronnie Semple
Harp legend Ronnie has played with many of the greats of the British blues scene, he brings experience and a true love for the blues to our band. You can hear the influence of harmonica pioneers like Little Walter in his soulful playing.
Katy Scott
Inspired by jazz, funk and soul Katy is passionate about groove. Her early influences include greats like Ian Paice and Cindy Blackman, Katy's style has been shaped by playing in big bands and small jazz collectives across England and South America.
Mike Riley
Riley's musical direction changed after seeing bass guitar pioneer John Entwistle playing with The Who. His style is a blend of the music he grew up listening to so you can hear the influence of session greats like Lee Sklar, Nathan East and David LaBruyere in his playing.
